How WTA Started

World Tax and Accounting (WTA) started in 2020 during the pandemic.

It started with one client as a side gig on top of a full-time job and stayed that way for almost two years. Seeing the increasing need of part time remote accountants, fractional controllers and CFOs for small to medium-size businesses, WTA started accepting more clients in 2023 and added more members to the team as well.

WTA operates virtually, thanks to technology, and serves US clients anywhere in the world.

General Owner, CPA

Rosa is a CPA in the Philippines and in the USA with extensive experience in general accounting and tax from small to huge companies over the years. She finished her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Saint Louis University, Baguio City, Philippines.

She got her CPA license next and landed her first job at IBM as an International Tax Accountant. She worked next at Shell Shared Services as a Tax Analyst handling Canadian sales taxes.

She migrated to the US in 2014 and her career grew quickly as she worked for different companies and stayed busy doing taxes during tax seasons. She got her Michigan CPA license while working full time and continued moving up in her career. She works as a controller in her current job.

All these experiences trained her to do all the accounting tasks needed to prepare accurate financials, analyze, and explain variances, prepare budgets and forecasts, and provide advice or guidance to business owners in making informed decisions based on the financial reports.

Her years of experience doing tax also trained her to do tax planning to avoid fees and penalties and to use tax deductions and tax credits that each client qualifies for to minimize taxes.

During the pandemic, she ventured into business and started her own accounting and tax firm so she can help others with her expertise especially small to mid-sized businesses and work remotely on her own schedule.

Her vacation times are mostly spent out of town traveling with her family. She also loves gardening roses in her backyard; it serves as her therapy after an exhausting work week.

Reinan Job is an experienced staff accountant and bookkeeper who has been working in various industries and accounting firms in the US for over 5 years. By the time he entered the practical/real world application of accounting, he never had the chance to formally get certified as a CPA but EXPERIENCE honed his accounting technical expertise such as his strong grasp on various accounting software programs, well-versed in project management and bookkeeping principles. Additionally, he has experience in handling payroll and preparing taxes.

RJ is committed to providing an excellent customer service experience and goes the extra mile to make sure all expectations are met. With his strong technical skills, proven track record of success and can be relied upon to produce accurate and insightful financial reports, RJ is an asset.

Recently, he became one of the rockstar accountant staffs at World Tax and Accounting. As new in this team same as the company in the online business world, he have proven himself in this field of proficiency.

Rani Mae Biboso

Ingenious and persistent licensed professional with a proven record of engaging with various levels of employees and clients. Rani Mae Biboso earned her degree in BS Accountancy from Mindanao State University and her Master’s in Business Administration from Notre Dame Dadiangas University.

Rani is a licensed CPA with over 3 years of extensive experience in accounting, internal audit, and system and process analysis.

Throughout her career, Rani has helped their Agency improve its accounts receivable management processes and has successfully led several internal audit engagements. She also assisted in streamlining their operational processes through the implementation of automated systems.

Rani was the newest member who joined at World Tax and Accounting and with her earned skills, she is now one of the team working force providing excellent accounting services to our clients online.

Pranz is 10+ years of web development experience with an established CODENAME that he uses in the online world.

From BS Computer Science graduate, his coding skills was totally insufficient after college so he pushed himself until he able to enter the web development dating back on the year 2011 to one webfirm in the outskirt of Baguio city, Philippines. Starting on static website to CMS focusing on WordPress, he have reached his expertise in WP custom development with the latest web development trends to level the limitless technology updates can offer.

With his technical skills and background on content writing, he is in-charge for the site maintenance, updates and content of World Tax and Accounting with the share of team members.
